Joe Perry is plenty pissed that Aerosmith has been temporarily put out of business by Steven Tyler’s tour injury, according to an Associated Press report.
Aerosmith had to cancel their summer tour when Tyler fell off the stage at an August stop and sustained injuries to his shoulder and head.
“The tour was building up to be a great tour, and I was pretty (upset), you know,” Perry said in an interview on Wednesday. Perry said he hadn’t spoken to Tyler in weeks and didn’t know how his recovery was coming. “I was pretty (upset), because right before that, he had pulled a muscle in his leg. And we had to take two weeks off and we missed probably seven dates,” Perry added.
But Perry has been keeping busy during his off time promoting his upcoming album, Have Guitar, Will Travel. It’s the fifth record for his solo endeavor, The Joe Perry Project, something Tyler’s health can not affect.

It seems kind of rude to be angry at your friend/bandmate for suffering an injury. Besides, if it weren't for the tour cancellations, nobody would've even heard about Perry lame new solo album.

I think the anger is what they call “even bad publicity is good publicity” … because I agree with musicvixen … how can you be angry with your friend for being injured? WTF is up with that.

Maybe Steven is becoming a really bad, sloppy druggie and won’t listen to advice? I dunno, seems like that’s how it goes in the movies.
