The 2009 Brit Awards took place February 18, and while most of the major Brit award winners were the usual suspects (Duffy, Kings of Leon, Kanye West), there was one major surprise during the ceremony: U2.
While the group’s performance of its new song, “Get on Your Boots,” was just as awful as expected, the band itself was even worse than anyone could’ve imagined.
The good news is that the 47-year-old U2 singer Bono finally took off his age-inappropriate sunglasses.
Unfortunately, he replaced them with so much eyeliner that even Fall Out Boy would be embarrassed.

Damn it bono give it up, you are too old for this crap. when you were young enough to do it it wasnt cool back then, now it is and you are too old. Your generation was passed up, so give it up, stop trying and go away.
