ABOVE: Was leaking this horrible music really worth getting stuck with a criminal record? We doubt it.
The blogger arrested for leaking Chinese Democracy, Guns’n'Roses’ long-delayed/over-hyped album before its official release date, has finally been sentenced, according to Rolling Stone.com.
Kevin Cogill’s punishment does not include prison time, nor does it include being forced to repeatedly listen to that horrible Guns’n'Roses CD–which would’ve been a pretty good punishment since the only good thing about that album was the free Dr. Pepper.
Instead, Cogill faces a year of probabtion and two months of home confinement.
We’re not really sure that sentencing a blogger to home confinement is punishment, really. Although, as part of his sentence, Billboard.biz reports that Cogill’s computers can be “scrutinized” by the government. He also needs to record a public service announcement for the RIAA.
Another headline making sentence was handed down in June when a Minnesota mom was fined $1.92 for 24 illegal downloads.

Maybe this album should've stayed unreleased. It was pretty bad. Actually, it was just so boring that I already forgot it was released...(yawn).
