We totally expected Chris Brown to release some sort of horrible apology song/love song dedicated to Rihanna in not-so-distant future, but this is even worse than we had imagined.

The troubled twosome has recorded a duet–a love song, of course.

So, did the world’s worst couple rush into the recording studio to record a love song just in time to cash in on the publicity before Brown goes to court?

Maybe not.

The good news is that it seems that this dreadful duet was actually recorded prior to the now infamous February 8 altercation.

Rolling Stone reports that Brown and Rihanna recorded a duet called “Stronger” as well as a version of “Bad Girl,” which has already been released by the Pussycat Dolls. (It seems unlikely that the world really needs–or wants–another version of a Pussycat Dolls song, but that’s another story.)

Whether either of these songs will actually be released remains to be seen.

We think it would be incredibly tacky to release this stuff. Then again, we also know that no record label would walk away from this kind of cheap publicity/easy money.

In addition to unleashing some Auto-Tuned and tone-deaf musical collaboration on the world, this chart-topping duo is sending a terrible message to a generation of young fans. Domestic abuse is NOT ok, and you cannot simply kiss and make up and sing a nice little love song about it a few weeks later.

Will you listen to the Chris Brown/Rihanna duet if it is released?

MusicVixen says...

Maybe they deserve each other, since neither one of them can sing? Seriously though, if Rihanna stays with this jerk, she is stupid!!!
