In a case of too little too late, the plastic surgeon that operated on Kanye West’s mother shortly before she died has had his medical license revoked, according to a report on E! Online.
According to E!, after the California Medical Board successfully brought charges against him over two criminal convictions for driving under the influence, Dr. Jan Adams can no practice medicine in the state.
Adams, who admitted “the truth of each and every allegation,” can petition for reinstatement in three years. This is the second time in a year the physician has lost his right to practice. Last January, the Medical Board did not immediately renew his license due to his failure to pay child support that he owed his ex.
Before the incident with West’s mom, Adams was a doctor in high demand on the talk-show circuit with regard to discussing plastic surgery options.
