Don't forget Bucky Covington from season 5. He's done every bit as well, if not better, as Kellie Pickler. I love them both...just want to make sure Bucky gets the recognition he deserves. He was deemed the top new country artist in several years by some organization, forget the name.

You mentioned: Endearingly ditsy sixth place finalist Kellie Pickler also had a country hit with “Red High Heels.”

But just thought I would mention that witty Bucky Covington had a much bigger hit than Kellie with his "A Different World."

I think that season 7 is the worst season yet. I have nicknamed it "Boring Idol." The contestants constantly pick the wrong songs and most don't have any stage presence. In previous seasons the judges were full of emotion and enthusiastic about the good contestants. This year, I believe they are giving fake comments to keep the audience watching every week. For example, this week, and especially tonight, the judges could not find any believable words to describe the performances. I have decided not to even watch any more. The show is talentless this year. What a waste of my precious time.
