Patrick Stump, the leader of love’em/loathe’em mall-punks Fall Out Boy, was arrested in L.A. on Wednesday.
No, haters, he wasn’t arrested for making bad music.
AP reports that the 25-year-old rockstar was picked up on charges related to a two-year-old warrant for driving without a valid license.
Fall Out Boy is scheduled to play at the Reading Festival in England on Friday, but there’s still no word on whether that show has been canceled as a result of Stump’s arrest (stay tuned for details…)
Considering that most celebs are being picked up for bloody attacks on their girlfriends or drug violations, this is actually a pretty tame story.
Wonder if Stump was just trying to steal back some of the spotlight stolen by his more popular (and arguably more annoying bandmate, Pete Wentz, AKA, Mr. Ashlee Simpson)?
