Reports are burning up the internet this morning over a study performed by researchers in Australia that has determined that headbanging is harmful to your health (video here).
Um, thanks, science, but I think we already knew that thrashing our heads and necks around and shaking our brains up (hopefully while blasting some eardrum shredding rock from, I dunno, Motorhead or something), wasn’t exactly as beneficial as yoga.
But it’s fun.
Well, it’s fun when you’re a teenager.
When you’re old, you start to mumble things about the music being too loud and having a headache.
The most surprising thing about this study is that it was performed by scientists in Australia—a country that should know a thing or two about rock’n’roll and headbanging since it spawned AC/DC.
