Jay-Z’s September 11 album The Blueprint 3 leaked online last week, a week ahead of its September 8 official release date, according to a report on Rollingstone.com.
The hip hop artist was made aware of the leak at a press conference for his 9/11 Madison Square Garden benefit concert which will be broadcast live on Fuse TV starting at 9 p.m. “I may be the most bootlegged artist in history,” Jay-Z responded at the Answer the Call conference. “It’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done, so enjoy it.”
Prior to this, a handful of tracks were dropped from the album, including the initial singles “D.O.A.” and “Run This Town,” which were both produced by Timbaland.
According to Rolling Stone, one reason why Jay may be taking the news so well is that with fans able to hear the album before its due date, he’s been getting some early positive reviews. “My pager is actually ringing right now, so people are probably calling me and telling me they pretty much like it,” Jay-Z said.

How can Jay-Z release a song called "Death of Auto-Tune" AND record a song with Kanye West? It just doesn't make sense! Also, I'm pretty sure the Grateful Dead and Phish are bootlegged much more than this guy...

Jay Z is putting his self up on a pedal stool. He can not make himself an icon, and the evolution he is talking about is demonic and from satan himself. It is ashame when people use the misfortune of others to get ahead. 9/11 happen what 8, 9 almost years ago. I guess he and his wife searched long and hard to figure what they can do to be recognized. I guess this will get him some, and put them in the forefront a little. Michael Jackson was an icon from the heart, no alterior motive, just a pure hearted, loving and caring individual. Jay Z motives are so transparent!!

Nickie you’re a moron. It’s a charity concert. Michael was molesting little kids, was that pure hearted? Also “pedal stool” and “ashame” highlight your level of education.

He did not molest anyone the boy came out and said in the public after Michael Jackson died that it was a scheme for money and why must people always go there when it comes to him. I bet everyone that says something negative about him once was a fan. You are just a piggy banker and you sound like everyone else that does not have a clue. No one said anything about his media troubles cause that is just what they were, but it takes a person that knows no better to do that…..And instead of fixing my grammer mistakes you need to do a little research and know what you are talking about. 9/11 happened so long ago, if it was that important it should have been done a long time ago. How can Jay Z say “this is my evolution” and “it is my time to step up and be the icon now” if it was not about anything other than himself those words would not have came out his mouth. If it was just about a charity you moron than it would be more about bringing the people to the for-front that actually went the this horrible event not trying to make it about being his evolution. That was my whole point. If you notice why did it take for someone to die for someone to feel the need to step up. Granted he has had sold out shows and has sold million of records but no one on this earth is worth idolizing over. Also maybe if you knew anything or the truth for that matter you would have thought before you posted your useless comment so maybe you are the one who needs to highlight your level of education!
