Kanye West used the debut of Jay Leno’s new talk show to offer another apology to Taylor Swift for ruining her award-winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night, according to an Associated Press report.
West told Leno that he knew he was wrong when he gave the mic back to Swift and was met by a chorus of boos. West had interrupted Swift while she was accepting the award for her video to “You Belong With Me,” telling the crowd that Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” deserved the honor.
“It was rude, period,” said West, who also noted that he is going to take time off to step back and reflect on his actions. He also said he wanted to apologize to the country star in person.
In the meantime, Leno was having lots of fun with hubbub, telling viewers in his opening monologue that President Obama had invited West and Swift to the White House for “a root beer summit.”

I know it's probably good for ratings, but I still think Leno should have banned Kanye from his show! People need to stop rewarding celebrities for being rude idiots!
