Kanye West, that zany unpredictable rap star, threw a temper tantrum at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Even though Kanye was ordained “Best Hip Hop Artist,” it wasn’t enough. When the Best Video award was presented to Justice and Simian for their ingenious video “We Are Your Friends,” Kanye lost it. Kanye stormed the stage and flipped out.
Like a crazed bum demanding pennies for some unwarranted display of “talent” (such as strumming a broken guitar, huffing into a harmonica ““ or washing your windshield with a newspaper) Kanye wanted a prize. Furious, he seemed to snarl that his video “Touch The Sky” should’ve won because it cost a million dollars, had Pamela Anderson, and Kanye (or a stunt double) jumping across canyons. Kanye accused that the awards show lost credibility for not picking him.
Music lovers shouldn’t be surprised by Kanye’s behavior as he’s already proved himself to be a wild-card at these type of events ““ one only needs to remember how he went off script with Mike Meyers and made wild claims about President Bush and black people.

Hey Kanye "“ quit whining about "your award." No one wants to buy a loser's CD.
