LeAnn Rimes Divorce Plans Confirmed During Concert

News is spreading quickly regarding plans for a divorce between country music superstar LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet. Married for seven years, the pair walked down the aisle when Rimes was just 19 years old.

It will be interesting to see whether the pair blames getting married young as a factor in the split. Sheremet was 21 at the time.

Now 26 years old, Rimes’s marital problems were exposed-or caused-in March, when Us Weekly published photos showing Rimes getting a little too close with Eddie Cibrian, the married actor with whom she was co-starring in TV movie called “Northern Lights.”

Cibrian’s wife, Brandi Glanville, filed for divorce days before Sheremet and Rimes announced their separation.

Rimes has largely remained quiet on the matter, although a performance at Utah’s Deer Valley Music Festival over the weekend, she introduced one of her songs with a statement seemingly aimed at Sheremet. Prior to singing her song, “God Takes Care of Your Kind,” Rimes reportedly said,

“You know, I think that you will all really be able to relate to this next song in your lives. You probably know it’s inevitable that in a relationship, sometimes you will have your heart broken at some point. Sometimes, you might say that you can’t do anything and sometimes, you want revenge. Sometimes, you say, ‘You’re not worth it.’ But sometimes, you don’t, and that’s when you leave it in God’s hands and know that he will take care of it.”
