It looks like Led Zeppelin may be back on the road soon, this time without frontman Robert Plant, according to Reuters report.

The legendary band, which sold approximately 300 million albums and is considered one of the most influential in rock music, briefly reunited for a one-time charity concert in London in December, 2007, leading to calls from fans for a full reunion tour, according to Reuters.

The news service further reported that guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist/instrumentalist John Paul Jones are eager to return to the stage, as is drummer Jason Bonham, the son of original member John who died in 1980, reportedly after a bout of heavy drinking. Plant, who has had a successful solo career, issued a terse statement that he has no plans to play with Zeppelin again. The band has been busy searching for a replacement for him.

Led Zeppelin broke up in 1980 and is part of a wave of classic rock bands now pursuing reunions.

Um, it's not really a "reunion" if you have to hire a new singer"”it's just a really pretentious cover band. These guys need to stop before they completely ruin their legacy.
