Miley Cyrus wants a film career, just not as Hannah Montana, according to an Associated Press report.
So says Cyrus just days before the opening of Hannah Montana: The Movie, in which Cyrus plays the lead character of her Disney show, a teenage girl who lives a double life as a regular kid and as a pop star.
“We got really lucky with having the material to make one movie,” Cyrus said in an interview yesterday. The film reveals Hannah Montana’s identity to the world in a way Cyrus says is “very clever,” but leads to the conclusion that there will be no sequel.
But the movie doesn’t jeopardize the future of the popular Disney TV show, said Cyrus. “I don’t know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season,” she said. The tween idol is signed up for a third and says she’s interested in a fourth. “That would be what we would all agree on,” she said.
The Hannah Montana movie opens April 10.

Maybe kids are finally getting tired of this awful Disney stuff. After all, the Jonas Brothers movie didn't do very well.

Pfft, typical Miley Cyrus is you ask me, totally stuck up and full of herself. She must think she is a Twilight star or something. I totally agree with this article!! I think she is just going to turn around and try to keep up being famous with her “singing and acting skills”. But those are not going to get her anywhere. She is obviously going to quit being Hannah Montana after this season, and disappoint all of the little children that are Hannah Montana fans. She is very heartless, and nobody likes her when she is not Hannah Montana, I think she should finally gome to grips with that fact, or she is never going to survive in Hollywood. I just feel sorry for the kids, they love her, she’s our “disney princess” soon she’ll be on the same list as Ariel the mermaid, and Belle, the beauty. Well, she’s not going to get to that pedestal with her skills luckily. Miley, stop lying, stop dating that model, stop underage drinking, stop thinking that you’re better than everyone else. If you want to get anywhere Miley, continue being Hannah Montana, I’m sure the parents of America can bear you for another season, but after that, you’re toast.
