Mraz’s breakthrough came in the form of 2002’s wordy hit “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” and he found continued success with songs such as “Lucky,” “Geek in the Pink” and “I’m Yours.”
In 2009, Mraz was honored by the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame with the Hal David Starlight Award for young songwriters. The honor was previously given to Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), Alicia Keys, John Mayer, John Legend and John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls).
