ABOVE: Dead Weather performs “Hang You From the Heavens,” the debut single from the band’s debut, Horehound.

Following a handful of well-received live shows and TV appearances, the Dead Weather is preparing to release its debut album, Horehound, an event that is being celebrated at Jack White’s pop-up record store in NYC.

If you can’t wait until tomorrow to hear it, the band is streaming the whole album online so fans can listen to Horehound in its entirety for FREE prior to its July 13 release (it’s on Facebook, because, apparently Jack White Hates Myspace even more, for some reason…).

Featuring White Stripes leader Jack White (on drums, mostly) along with a band that combines the Raconteurs, the Greenhornes, the Kills and Queens of the Stone Age, the band is buzzing as something of an indie-rock super-group (although, let’s face it: White is still the big name, even if he’s just sitting behind the drumkit this time around).
