Looks like moody goths and black-clad rockers no longer have the market cornered on vampires (although Alice Cooper is preparing to star in a vampire comedy, Suck. Looks amazingly horrible, but it has Dave Foley…and Henry Rollins and Iggy Pop).
As the highly anticipated (by teens) flick, Twilight: New Moon, prepares to hit theatres, the internet is abuzz with leaks regarding the soundtrack line-up.
(Guess it makes more sense than buzzing about the movie, since everyone who read the book already knows what’s going to happen there…)
So far, the soundtrack is shaping up to be a hit with teens and indie types, with contributions confirmed from moody Brits Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and Muse. Now, indie darlings Death Cab for Cutie are contributing a song written just for the film, “Meet Me on the Equinox.”
Meh. We kind of miss the more rockin’ vampires of the ’80s (Lost Boys)…
Who else should be on the New Moon soundtrack? (See what Twilight fans have been saying, here)
