These days, Tori Amos looks like the Botoxed nightmare before Christmas, but that isn’t stopping the interminably quirky, red-haired pianist from making what would have probably been the strangest and most unnecessary Christmas disc of the year had Bob Dylan not already announced plans for a Christmas album of his own.

Mixing standard holiday fare with some Amos originals, the new collection titled Midwinter Graces is due in stores November 10, but you can glimpse the creepy album cover artwork above.
This year, we’re hoping that even if Amos won’t learn that her seemingly plastic-coated face is inching closer and closer to creepy Michael Jackson wax doll territory, maybe she’ll at least realize that it’s OK to opt not put her own face on the cover of every album. (On a semi-related note, Oprah, you don’t have to have your big head on the cover of every issue of O Magazine, all airbrushed and maniacally smiling at us in the checkout line, y’know.)

I will totally buy this album. I am just amazed at how mean you are, have you heard the MUSIC on the album? tori is an amazing artist and her songs are deep - unlike your blog that seems to only want comment on her skin. Are you really that shallow?
