    10/31:: Lez Zeppelin @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

    We’re not sure what Robert Plant, John Paul Jones (Them Crooked Vultures) and Jimmy Page think of this all-female tribute to Led Zeppelin, but the ladies know how to get a crowd’s attention—and keep it.

    10/31:: The King Khan & BBQ Show / Dum Dum Girls @ Bell House

    (This is an early show, so you can still party like a monster afterwards.)

    Every day is sort of like Halloween for King Khan & BBQ. This two-piece garage/doo-wop band (guitar/vocals and guitar/drums/vocals) routinely shows up clad purple wigs, turbans and drag, so things are sure to be wild when Halloween rolls around.

    Musical Mysteries & Myths
    10/30 &10/31:: The Long Count @ BAM

    Not blatantly Halloween-y, but sure to by mysterious and spooky with a complex stage production/concert that is described as “a mind-bending, song-filled myth about the beginning of time.” Featuring brothers Bryce Dessner and Aaron Dessner (the National), twins Kim Deal and Kelley Deal (Pixies, Breeders, Kelley Deal 5000), as well as Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond), and Matt Berninger (The National).
