Phish fans tend to get pretty angry with us every time we write about this horrible hippie group, but this time we’re not out to hate phish.
Ticketmaster has recently experienced major meltdowns in its computer system while being inundated with fans trying to, y’know, buy concert tickets (crazy, right?).
This time, the company had an even stranger probler: Ticketmaster was selling fake tickets to Phish fans.
Last night, many excited Phish fans (and scalpers) were mistakenly allowed to purchase four-day passes and tickets for the newly reunited band’s upcoming string of shows at Red Rocks.
However, the orders were quickly canceled by Ticketmaster because the on-sale date isn’t until March 26. Guess the stoned Phish fans will just have to wait in line/online to buy their tickets on March 26.
Apparently some fans didn’t get the news that the ticket orders were canceled. Last night, scalpers were already offering the non-existent passes for sale on eBay and similar websites.
This isn’t the first time Phish fans have had trouble getting Phish tickets.
Last month Phish fans faced ticketing trouble with Live Nation when the company’s ticketing system froze due to the amount of people trying to buy tickets. Ticketmaster faced similar trouble when its computer system was crashed by Bruce Springsteen fans.
Ticketmaster charges all sorts of exorbitant service fees on its already over-priced tickets and although this company’s only job is to sell tickets, it can’t even do that right.
Apparently, the only thing Ticketmaster is good at is shoveling money into its own bank account.

Haha, you are so pathetic it amazes me. You refer to Phish as a horrible hippy group. Well I see them as melody, rhythmic and technical masters. If you can not recognize that, then you must listen to coldplay and those other pathetic bands only it the industry to sell. I would love to hear about your favorite bands.
