American Idol judge Simon Cowell celebrated his 50th birthday in London over the weekend with 400 of his closest friends, according to a report on Popeater.com
According to the report, Cowell had the most resplendent birthday bash imaginable, with a price tag of $1.5 million. In attendance were A-List guests like Kate Moss, Kevin Spacey, and Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber, not to mention Idol co-stars Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest.
With an image of Cowell himself projected onto the front of the building - and a tank of mini-sharks, the scope of the extravaganza clearly matched Cowell’s ego. There were also pre-recorded birthday wishes from the likes of Jennifer Aniston and the Beckhams.
One notable no-show was Internet singing sensation Susan Boyle, who reportedly called Cowell personally to express her regrets about not being able to attend.
