Spears Halts Vancouver Concert Over Pot Smoke

Now that she’s out of rehab, Britney Spears is down on abusers. Spears stopped her concert in Vancouver, British Columbia, Wednesday night for thirty minutes until pot smoke had cleared the air, according to an Associated Press report.

According to the AP, Spears’ concert was halted about 15 minutes into her performance, and an announcer told concertgoers to put out their cigarettes. Some audience members grew impatient while waiting for Spears and gang to return to the stage, the AP reported

“Don’t smoke weed,” Spears told the audience when she returned to the stage.

Spears’ publicist, Holly Shakoor, issued a statement apologizing to fans about the delay. The statement said “crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”
