You can never have too many records...

The five-day onslaught of non-stop concerts CMJ music festival can be a little exhausting after a while.

So, if you’re in NYC and looking for a place to catch your breath between shows, why not head over to the annual WFMU Record and CD Fair?

This annual event is a massive sale featuring an endless array of records and CDs from pretty much every artist imaginable and it’s put together by the fine folks at WFMU, which is quite possibly best independent radio station around.

In addition to picking up albums by CMJ favorites, the fair is a great place to dig through beautifully dusty vinyl stacks and score some older goodies.

If you’re a serious shopper, here’s a map of the place so you can decide where to start you record hunting adventure—you just might finish your holiday shopping early (or at least grab some cool stuff for yourself).

The sale also features some cool live events (bands, DJs, etc.).

The Record Fair takes place October 23-25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion located at 125 W. 18th St (between 6th/7th)
