“Tonight was a good night that ended kinda crazy,” says will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas in a new video posted online. That low key statement comes after the star’s buzzworthy confrontation with notoriously outspoken blogger Perez Hilton over the weekend in Toronto following the MuchMusic Awards, where Black Eyed Peas and the equally awful Nickelback took home some of the night’s big awards.
News of the fight spread quickly when Hilton used Twitter to ask his followers (over 1 million of them) to call for help after he was allegedly attacked by members of the Black Eyed Peas’ entourage.
Melodramatic? Sure, but the guy knows how to get attention.
Will decided to speak out against Hilton’s Twitter attack by posting a video explaining his side of the story. Hilton quickly responded with his own video declaring, “Will.i.am made a video and he lied. Will.i.am is a coward and a disgusting human being for lying. I would never make up something like this…I don’t want drama in my own life.”
We’re not so sure about that last part, Perez.
However, after watching both videos, it’s pretty clear that neither party is exactly innocent, and they both come across as immature brats behaving like spoiled kids picking fights on the playground.
The short version is that Hilton hurt the feelings of will.i.am’s bandmate Fergie “My Humps” Ferguson by making it clear that he didn’t like the Black Eyed Peas’ new album, The E.N.D. (We hate to agree with Lady GaGa-lover Hilton, but it is pretty awful.)
According to Will’s video, Fergie was upset and ran to him for help, inspiring Will to confront Hilton and tell him, “Don’t be blatantly rude…You don’t have to be disrespectful.”
According to Hilton’s video, he told Will he didn’t need to respect him, and then went on to sling homophobic slurs at him in an attempt to anger him. Hilton says in the same breath, “I didn’t want to get into a fight with this person, so I left.”
Actually, it sounds like Hilton started a fight he didn’t want to finish.

Will I am need to just shut up. I havent even seen what his video says and I dont care, I perfer PerezHilton to the black eyed peas anyway. And FERGIE IS FUGLY lol

Ouch… Being a guy, I can attest to the fact that Fergie is definitely not ‘FUGLY’. For those of you that don’t know, the word “fugly” (fug⋅ly/ˈfʌgli/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [fuhg-lee]) is defined as: very ugly; extremely unattractive. Anyone who has a body like hers can’t be considered ‘fugly’ as you say. I know plenty of dudes who’re married to far uglier women. I would venture to guess that you, Monique, are in fact uglier than Fergie and bitter for it.
As for ‘Perez’… freedom of speech doesn’t mean others cannot be offended by your words… “you reap what you sow”.. Sometimes people just need to get socked in the face once in a while.
