Who Cares About Kurt Cobain and Bob Dylan?
November 13th, 2007 by KarenDirector Todd Haynes just unleashed his much-anticipated film, I’m Not There, an unusual biopic in which the role of Bob Dylan is played by several different actors, including Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett.
Rumors are also heating up about Heavier Than Heaven, a film about late Nirvana leader, Kurt Cobain.
So, do two of the most over-exposed musicians ever really need more films made about them? Probably not.
But, with so many music-themed flicks hitting theaters, this seems like a good time to look back at some other movies about musicians that are worth watching again.
