At a concert in Auburn Hills, Michigan on Friday the 13th, Bruce Springsteen risked turning the entire crowd against him as he repeatedly uttered the most offensive four-letter word imaginable: Continue reading »

In his first concert appearance since his notorious February 8 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna, controversial singer Chris Brown took to the stage as part of Power 105.1 Powerhouse ‘09 concert alongside Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, The-Dream, Day26, Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Swizz Beatz, Mario and others.
A lawyer representing Michael Jackson’s doctor claims that his client never prescribed or injected the pop star with OxyContin or Demerol, or in any way contributed to Jackson’s death, according to an Associated Press report.
Edward Chernoff said in an interview Sunday with The Associated Press that any drugs that Dr. Conrad Murray gave Jackson were prescribed in response to a specific complaint from Jackson.
“Dr. Murray has never prescribed nor administered Demerol to Michael Jackson,” Chernoff said. “Not ever. Not that day. … Not OxyContin (either) for that matter.” Further, the lawyer said Jackson still had a faint pulse and a warm body when Murray found him in bed and not breathing Thursday afternoon.
Still, Dr. Murray’s actions on the day of Jackson’s death have struck many as odd; first, Murray departed the Jackson house hastily on foot, leaving behind his car. Secondly, Murray would not sign Jackson’s death certificate.
Chernoff said his client was fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
ABOVE:Chris Brown admits that domestic abuse was a problem in his family.
Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a Los Angeles court yesterday, in exchange for which he will not have to go to prison, but he will have to perform some heavy duty community service, according to an Associated Press report.
The two were also ordered to stay away from each other.
Brown’s plea to a felony charge will subject him to a great deal of scrutiny from probation officers who will oversee his picking up roadside trash and cleaning up graffiti, and he can forget about any reconciliation with Rihanna, according to the AP report.
The guilty plea came before a hearing in which Brown and Rihanna might have had a public faceoff, with Rihanna set to testify against her ex-beau. Instead, after Brown left the courtroom, Rihanna entered and had the stay-away order explained to her.
The total sentence for Brown was five years probation and 6-months of community service.
"I think this whole idea of Katy Perry wanting to sue Katie Perry is stupid. I mean, Katie Perry was obviously well established in the business before..."
Singer Katy Perry’s representatives are attempting to stop an Australian fashion designer from trade-marking her clothing label with the brand name Katie Perry, according to a Reuters report.
The designer, who was born Katie Jane Perry, started her high-end Katie Perry loungewear label two years ago, according to Reuters. She initiated a trademark application in September 2008 and recently opened her first store in Sydney. But she was hit with a cease-and-desist order from reps of the recording artist, in an attempt to halt the “similar name” being used in connection with the clothing label.
The pop star’s label, EMI, sent the clothing designer a letter informing her of their artist’s intention to file for trademark protection in Australia. The artist, whose real name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, is very popular down under; her tune “I Kissed a Girl” peaked at number one, and she snagged best newcomer at the MTV Australia Awards in March
ABOVE: Miley Cyrus is no stranger to controversy, but now her duet partner, American Idol’s David Archuleta, is caught up in a scandal, too.
The father of last year’s American Idol runner-up, David Archuleta has pleaded no contest to using the services of a prostitute in a Salt Lake City suburb, according to an Associated Press report.
If the 47-year-old James Jeffrey Archuleta avoids repeating the crime by the end of this month, the charge will taken off his record, according to the AP.
A police sergeant said Archuleta was cited on January 14 at a Midvale, Utah, massage parlor. Police officers were investigating the establishment because of complaints from a nearby doctor’s office of scantily clad women on the premises.
Court records show Archuleta, who goes by Jeff, pleaded no contest on January 30. He also paid a $582 fine and completed a counseling class.
Throughout David Archuleta’s Idol run his father was accused of interfering with his performances, and generally angering the other contestants and their parents. David repeatedly stated that the allegations about his father were untrue.

For the past few days, the biggest news about Britney Spears has been that there are photos of her wearing a black wig in preparation for the filming of her upcoming video Womanizer mp3.
Just when it was starting to look as though Spears was getting her life back together, reports have surfaced that her ex is trying to sell a sex tape.
The alleged salesman/co-star is paparazzo Adnad Ghalib, the guy ex-Mousketeer Spears was dating in the midst of some her most erratic behavior around the time of her hospitalization and mental evaluation.
What a classy guy!
And to think: We thought K-Fed was the smarmy ex. Maybe he wasn’t such a bad guy after all (notwithstanding his horrible rap album).
While this guy is ultra-sleazy for taking advantage of an apparently mentally distraught girl, any company that pays for this garbage is just as bad. And, while we wouldn’t be caught dead watching this junk, odds are you can find it here, if you’re interested.
Would you watch a Britney tape if it were released?
Or do you think this whole situation is pretty disgusting?

Just when you thought sex-tape scandals were only for underage girls and creepy old men, along comes news of a sex tape—from beyond the grave!
AOL and the New York Times report that a video has surfaced allegedly showing guitar legend Jimi Hendrix, um, starring, alongside not one, but two ladies. The tape is set to be released by super-skanky adult film company, Vivid Video.
Seriously? Enough already. Last week it was a fake Marilyn Monroe sex tape, tomorrow it’ll probably be a phony Miley Cyrus sex tape scandal. When will this nonsense end?
First of all, Jimi Hendrix is a lot of things, but a “sex symbol” isn’t really one of them by most accounts. The guitarist rose to fame with his version of the “Star Spangled Banner” at Woodstock (video) and songs like “Purple Haze”mp3 and “All Along the Watchtower,” but his color-clashing psychedelic wardrobe wasn’t exactly landing him on the cover of fashion magazines.
Second, who cares? Don’t people have anything better to do than watch grainy video of celebs in compromising situations? This is a bigger waste of time than watching “Dancing with the Stars”!!!
What Do You Think? Do people really want to see celebrity videos like this? Or is it just media hype? Leave a comment and tell us what you think.
