Is Britney Spears’s new song “If You Seek Amy” really that dirty, or is the controversy the result of parents with particularly dirty minds and active imaginations?

Apparently, here at MV our minds aren’t in the gutter quite as much as the minds of the parents and youngsters who are currently in an uproar over Britney Spears’s latest hit song. This morning a group of concerned listeners even invaded Good Morning America to expose the song’s hidden meaning.

(Hint: If you say the title quickly, it sort of sounds like a dirty four-letter word. )

“If You Seek Amy” appears on the popstar’s latest album, Circus. Touted as the comeback album of this recently troubled performer, the song is raising eyebrows thanks to its sexually explicit meaning.
