Free MP3: Zooey Deschanel Sings about Her Underwear on TV

ABOVE: Of all the songs written about, um, weeds, this may be the first about cotton.

Since first showing the world she could sing during her shower scene duet with Will Ferrell in Elf, Zooey Deschanel has stolen the hearts of moviegoers–and indie rock fans.

The burgeoning star paired up with singer/songwriter/guitarist M. Ward to form She & Him, and if that weren’t enough to secure her status as the indie-rock world’s darling, the blue-eyed, shaggy-banged singer recently became engaged to Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie (they sing together, too).

So, what else could she do?

Sing a song about her underpants, of course.(Rather her than Gibbard, we guess.)

It’s that time of year again!

Cities around the world are preparing to celebrate everyone’s favorite Irish holiday: St. Patrick’s Day! (C’mon, could you even name another Irish holiday?)

While most people use the day as an excuse to over-indulge in corned beef, green beer and Guinness, we’d like to offer an alternative to parades and cloggers: Irish rock music.
