However, the person the world is most curious to hear from in this case, Rihanna, has remained silent on the matter—until now.

ABC is set to air an interview with the 21-year-old singer wherein she will speak about Brown’s violent attack on her for the first time.

We have to say, in the preview video clip provided by ABC, the news anchors promoting the interview seem ghoulishly interested in the details of the beating. The bloodthirsty pair repeatedly emphasizes that Rihanna is supposed to Continue reading »

New Rihanna Single, Chris Brown Tour Announcement

Published October 21st, 2009 by Karen

On Rihanna's website, cryptic artwork alluding to her upcoming album tells fans "the wait is ova Novemeber 23, 2009."

Chris Brown announced he would be embarking on a “fan appreciation” tour on the same day that ex-girlfriend Rihanna released her latest single, a thinly disguised tune about her former relationship with the R&B singer, according to a Reuters report.

According to Reuters, both Rihanna’s single “Russian Roulette” and Brown’s tour announcement were firsts since their relationship ended violently in February.

Brown, 20, was sentenced to five years probation and community service in August for his attack on Rihanna, 21, the night of the Grammy Awards. Brown has since apologized publicly (sort of), but has stayed out of the media spotlight.

Chris Brown has scheduled his first official live performance since pleading guilty to beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna and being sentenced to community labor and probation, according to a report on RollingStone.com

According to the Web site, Brown will perform at New York hip-hop station Power 105’s Powerhouse concert on October 27th at New Jersey’s Izod Center. He will be joined onstage by The-Dream, Fabolous, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Mario and Ginuwine.

Brown’s appearance will come as he tries to promote “Transformer,” the first single off his upcoming album Graffiti. The single, which features a guest spot from Lil Wayne, is expected out soon.

Brown is currently serving a 180-day community labor sentence, and it’s unclear whether the singer has gotten the go-ahead from the Los Angeles court or the Virginia officials overseeing his sentence to perform at the New Jersey concert.

According to the AP, the 20-year-old R&B singer worked alongside others with similar sentences cleaning up the area by hand and with yard tools. Although a few curious fans stopped by to see Brown work, there was by no means the scene that some officials had expected. Brown, who was wearing a white tank top, orange vest, baggy jeans and red cap, stopped to wave at fans while he was working.

Brown’s schedule, including work hours and days, will be flexible, and he will be performing different types of manual labor, according to a Richmond police spokesperson.  Brown will also undergoing counseling in Richmond, which is near his home in Montpelier, Virginia.

Jay-Z’s September 11 album The Blueprint 3 leaked online last week, a week ahead of its September 8 official release date, according to a report on Rollingstone.com.

The hip hop artist was made aware of the leak at a press conference for his 9/11 Madison Square Garden benefit concert which will be broadcast live on Fuse TV starting at 9 p.m. “I may be the most bootlegged artist in history,” Jay-Z responded at the Answer the Call conference. “It’s a preview. I’m excited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done, so enjoy it.”

Prior to this, a handful of tracks were dropped from the album, including the initial singles “D.O.A.” and “Run This Town,” which were both produced by Timbaland.

According to Rolling Stone, one reason why Jay may be taking the news so well is that with fans able to hear the album before its due date, he’s been getting some early positive reviews. “My pager is actually ringing right now, so people are probably calling me and telling me they pretty much like it,” Jay-Z said.
